How to find a good chiropractor?
There are so many chiropractors out there, how do you find a really good chiropractor?
Some things you might want to avoid when choosing a chiropractor include:
Taking full spine x-rays or x-rays on every new patient.
Long term treatment plans. An example would be someone telling you you need to come in 3 times a week for weeks or even months or asking you to sign contracts for lengthy treatment.
Bashing or speaking badly of Physical Therapist or Medical Physicians.
There are others but those seem to be the big ones.
What SHOULD you look for in a good chiropractor and how do you find one?
Ask your primary care physician, physical therapist or personal trainer.
See if they have post grad education beyond chiropractic school.
What other stuff are they involved with within their practice and is it a “good” or does it sound like a “gimmick”?
